Adventure Parks
What is it?
Adventure park or ‘Aventure Parc’ in French is a well-known outdoor activity centre built into the tree line that takes elements of SAS training and makes them safe. Much like Britains ‘Go Ape’ they have different levels of difficulty so that all ages can enjoy themselves and be tested in their strength and dare devilness.
Something for everyone
The courses are progressive. Whether you are an athlete or not very fit, everyone will get something out of their activities in the park.
They have a range of things to choose from including Tarzan swings, cross rope bridges, Zip line, bungee jumping and space jumping (the reverse bungee!)to name a few.
Safe at all times
You are totally secure at all times, an unfastenable pulley goes with you along the whole course and it will move forwards according to your own moves. Instructors stay on the ground to give you advice and help you overtake the various obstacles.
Where are they?
The nearest Adventure Park is only 15 minutes away by car in our neighboring resort Oz en Oisans, it is fairly new so not quite as well equipped as others. The better known and well established Adventure Park lies in Venosc, a 40 minute drive away.

There's nothing quite like a good pair of shoes, and bicycles work in a similar way; a good well-adjusted bike to suit your body type and riding ability will make you ride more comfortably, last longer and roll faster.
Skiing season over? Not a chance I hear you say! Think again - You can ski in the summer in the French Alps, no need to put away that precious ski gear.
