Vaujany and the surrounding Oisans area host many events throughout the year and indeed the summer months, which are a particular highlight for the events schedule. With expert classes such as wool-making, brewery and other such vists, exhibitions of all kinds, painting and cheese making workshops...not to mention the general sport of cycling and mountain biking, shows, Fetes, Tournaments of all kinds.

Brewery visits with beer tasting
Every Tuesday from 14:30 - 15:30 at Goodwin Brewery
Learn about the techniques used to produce British ales in the French alps. Tours available in French and in English.
Ice Skating
Vaujany has been host to the French National Ice Skating Championships four times since December 2013. The whole village buzzes with excitement and it's a great way to show the country and the world that Vaujany is well and truly on the map with its great facilities and tournaments of all kinds.
Ice Hockey
Vaujany has an ice hockey team called the 'Grizzley's which are getting better each year. The famous Grenoble team regularly practice, train and compete in Vaujany. The stands are getting busier and busier with every trip.
We have also recently seen Vaujany host the women's World Championships (1st division) where the home nation won!

International Chess Tournament

Vaujany has hosted a chess tournament for some time now. People do travel from all over the world to play and engage with others who love the game. We invite you to enjoy a week of tradition, folklore and chess tournaments.

Village Fête
The village hosts many fêtes and every Wednesday has a games day up at the Gallerie Marchande. The main festival runs at the beginning of August

Visit a goat/sheep farm
What better way to spend an afternoon than petting goats and eating cheese. In fact, there are three goat farms within half an hour from Vaujany!
