Skiing season over? Not a chance I hear you say! Think again - You can ski in the summer in the French Alps, no need to put away that precious ski gear as from the 6th of July you can practice your technique skiing and boarding at the Pic Blanc Glacier leaving the afternoons to soak up the sun back in resort. What could be better combining sunbathing and skiing? The lift pass rate is €20 for the day.
Higher still, the glaciers of Les Deux Alpes and La Grave stay open all year round! If you have never tried it before or if you just can’t resist the chance to slip and slide on the snow, Les Deux Alps is one of the best places in France for summer skiing, especially if you are in to your freestyle skiing. The Deux Alpes team groom and prepare the ski slopes every night.
