Fly with the birds
If you’ve never tried paragliding before (or maybe you’re not entirely sure what it is!) then Vaujany is a great place to learn how to fly. There is a paragliding school, based beside the tennis club just above La Villette, which offers breathtaking tandem flights from 2,800m or 2,000m and beginners' courses by arrangement.
Known as “parapenting” in France, there are a number of great organisations and clubs in the area whose sole purpose is to get you flying. So, if it is something that you have always fancied trying, then give it a go whilst on a Peak Adventures holiday.
For more paragliding adventures you can visit Venosc, just under 40 minutes away at the base of Les Deux Alpes where an even higher flight can be attempted.
