Chalet Saskia – The most luxurious chalet in Vaujany

All of our Vaujany chalets are self catered, but we work closely with local caterers The Chalet Chef, who take control of all things food.

Vaujany Chalet Saskia has consistently been the most popular choice amongst our guests since it was built by Ski Peak in 2000. Thanks to the combination of its picture-postcard location on the south facing, sun-drenched slopes of Vaujany and its smart and stylish interior, it has become the flagship chalet of Peak Adventures (Ski Peak in winter) and probably the best Vaujany accommodation available. 

The unique mirror-image design of the chalet allows it to be used by large groups, taking advantage of the large balcony terrace in-between the lounge and dining room, right by the kitchen. Relax in the evening on the terrace with a beer or aperitif soaking up the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. As Alpine chalet rentals go, this is as good as it gets!

Indulgence Vaujany Chalet Saskia Style

Enjoy your day out cycling one of the many world famous routes such as the col de la croix de fer, or walking by mountain streams, rafting in the Veneon, playing at Adventure Parc or tackling one of the via-ferrata... then return to your Vaujany Chalet Saskia oasis to enjoy a peaceful moment on the terrace watching the La Fare waterfall tumbling down the rock-face on the other side of the valley.

Relax back in the chalet, enjoying the sunshine and views from the terrace or indeed in our spa area with state of the art hot tub. If you still have the energy, visit the Vaujany leisure centre's with swimming and gym complex or the indoor championship ice skating rink and bowling centre, just 200m from Chalet Saskia.

Pricing

1. Accommodation only on a weekly basis
2. At the time of making a reservation we kindly ask for a 30% deposit to secure the booking.
3. Sadly we are not able to offer our guests access to the sauna without our seasonal staff present (July and August). During these two months it can be arranged for a fee of €50 a day, on the basis of a 2 hour slot between 17:00 - 19:00, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Chalet Saskia can also be rented on a nightly basis with a minimum stay of 3 nights, unless otherwise agreed with the office, please enquire. We can be flexible!
5. There is normally a surcharge for weekend stays.
6. There is an additional 'tourist tax' of €1.76 per person per night (18 and over) to pay, which will be added onto your 'Extra's invoice', due two weeks before your arrival.
7. Please note that there is an extra fixed charge of €550 to cover linen and changeover to make it presentable for the next guests.
8. We still ask that the chalet is left as you found it with; crockery and glasses etc washed up and put away, surfaces wiped, floor swept and bins emptied.
9. You may occupy the chalet from 16:00 on the day of arrival and are kindly requested to vacate by 10:00 on the day of departure.
10. There is a security deposit of €1000 held against a credit card on arrival.
