Catering in your chalet
Peak Adventures and Ski Peak historically has been known for the delicious catering that our hosts in Chalet Saskia offer. It was our USP for 30 years across multiple chalets, apartments and hotel. We have had to step away from catering this year but know the importance of having some help in the kitchen when you just want to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We've searched high and low for local cook/chefs who can help every day or a few times during your holiday, to a one-off special meal cooked by a professional chef (see below), we can accommodate all requests.
And it's not only the cooking and cleaning we can help with. We can also help organise fridge-stocking, before you arrive, a fresh bakery delivery every morning amongst other extras...so that's breakfast, lunch and dinner... sorted!
The Private Chef Experience
We've partnered with The Chalet Chef to make hosting memorable evening an absolute breeze. Their chefs will take care of everything for you from start to finish. They'll bring all the necessary ingredients, cook and serve the food and even clean up afterwards. All you have to do is sit back, maybe enjoy a glass of wine or two, and anticipate the amazing gastronomic experience that’s on the way!
On the day of the event...
- The chef will arrive approximately 2 hours before the start of service, along with all the ingredients needed to cook your chosen meal in your kitchen.
- The chef will cook and serve each dish to you – and they’re happy to pass on some tips if you want to improve your own cookery!
- Before leaving, the chef will ensure the kitchen has been cleaned.
What's On The Menu?
Check out their range of delicious menus here starting at around €39 per person. It’s quick & easy to book online, and if you’re not sure of all the details or can’t decide on a menu, don’t worry! You can simply pay a 20% deposit to secure your date and finalise all the details later with the The Chalet Chef team. They recommend booking your chef as early as possible with a minimum time frame of 14 days in advance.
We will always try to work around your schedule. As a small specialist tour operator exclusively providing luxury holidays to Vaujany, we have the flexibility often missing from larger companies.

Cycling in the French Alps and Oisans area is a wonderful experience. Riding out of Vaujany every morning whether to train or compete, is like riding through the annals of cycling history.
There's nothing quite like a good pair of shoes, and bicycles work in a similar way; a good well-adjusted bike to suit your body type and riding ability will make you ride more comfortably, last longer and roll faster.
Skiing season over? Not a chance I hear you say! Think again - You can ski in the summer in the French Alps, no need to put away that precious ski gear.
